Bourton offers some fabulous attractions – however we are perfectly located to explore the rest of the Cotswold’s – Stow on the Wold, Burford, Broadway and Chipping Norton and all within 30 minutes drive.

Bourton on the water has a range of pubs, cafes and restaurants as well as a Chinese, Indian and fish and chip shops all offering take aways. Please see the info in your shepherd hut for our recommendations – or pop us an email. 

Diddly Squat Farm Shop, The Farmers Dog Pub, The Cotswold Wildlife Park, The Cotswold Farm Park, Burford Garden Center, Daylesford, Sudeley Castle and Blenheim Palace offer days out. 

We have stunning countryside walks right from Penguin Barn, walk to the beautiful villages of Lower Slaughter, Upper Slaughter, Naunton and Great Rissington. 

Bourton Vale Equestrian center is just a 5-minute drive and offer horse riding treks, a great way to see the countryside.

Moreton and Kingham train stations both offer regular services to London which is an hour and a half by train. And Bourton on the Water has a regular bus service to Chipping Norton, Moreton, Stow and Cheltenham.
