In the beautiful Cotswold village of Bourton on the Water, Penguin Barn Glamping offers the perfect countryside stay. Situated in our peaceful paddocks just a five-minute walk from the center of this famous Cotswold village, we offer the perfect location for peace and tranquility, just a stone’s throw from the village shops and pubs.

Our two luxury shepherd huts sleep 2 guests and offer heating, en-suite shower room, electricity, kitchen and an outdoor seating area with a fire pit for relaxed evenings.

Our two camper van pitches offer hard standing electric hook up, drinking water and toilets. Outdoor seating area, and fire pits can be hired.



We have fabulous Cotswold walks right from your door, we welcome 2 dogs per accommodation.

Penguin Barn Glamping is a small family run business – we welcome guests to enjoy the peace and quiet of our 20 acres of meadow land in Bourton on the Water. Our Shepherd huts and pitches are perfect for couples and friends who wish to enjoy a relaxed Cotswold getaway. A five-minute walk from the heart of Bourton on the Water we offer the perfect mix of a peaceful stay, but with a short walk to all the attractions, cafes and shops. 



Dubbed ‘The Venice of the Cotswolds’ Bourton is famous for it’s beautiful river and picturesque Cotswold houses. Visit Birdland, The Model Village, The Cotswold Motoring Museum, The dragonfly Maze and enjoy a picnic or ice cream beside the banks of the river Windrush – all within a 5-minute walk of your shepherd hut.

The Fireside Experience

Every hut comes with its own private firepit and a starter pack of logs. Perfect for roasting marshmallows or sharing stories long after the sun goes down.

Trails on Your Doorstep

Forget the car. We are surrounded by some of the most beautiful walking and cycling routes in the Cotswolds, ranging from gentle strolls to serious hikes.

Modern Comforts

Enjoy the "glam" in glamping. We provide high-quality linens, hot showers, and those little extra touches that make a stay feel special.

We love dogs!

We gladly accept two dogs per accommodation, so your furry friends can come too!
